Lumin PDF Feature Requests & Feedback

I needed to edit the pdf document and was still not able to do so.

When using the EDIT PDF feature, users cannot add bulletpoints to an existing list.

The main problem was that I wasn’t able to edit, create or change the document as I hoped. My business and I needed something more creative aesthetically pleasing.

Problem: It's difficult and not user-friendly when using Edit feature: Have to enter or leave the Edit Mode. User click on the "Save" button in the popup editing text but it doesn't mean to save. Solution: Allow users to use shortcut to save the edit, eg. "Ctrl + S" -> this is the common behavior when user edit something offline or not auto save -> they will continuously use the shortcut to save their work. The "Save" button in the popup editing the text make user confused. They thought the text is saved but it is not. => Change the "Save" button wording to "Apply" or "Done" Show "Unsaved" status or banner to warn the Edit is not auto saved. => the banner may only need to show couples of times when user firsts use Edit feature to educate user. Implement versions of the document and allow user to restore the version and let user know this feature -> by this way, users dont have to worry about overwriting the file. May think about the feature to ask user to save this in the original file or a copied file. Actions related: The layout of the Edit Viewer should be changed -> Categorize into different groups so that users can know where to look for their desired button. The versions of document and ability to restore the version should be implemented

When I would edit a doc it would shift all my margins around and font sizes would be switched to a smaller size. These were military docs that I was using so they had to be in original size.

It is easy to handle and allows many modifications to be made to the PDF

If I had to edit a lot of PDF documents I would totally use this and will be recommending it to others. Good job!!

Wanted to edit the positioning of a company name on a Constitution, but wouldn’t let me select that text only – it was selecting the whole page as the text to be edited and I wasn’t able to click on anything to fix it manually

And another feature I really love from PDFfiller is you can actually undo edits and continue working in document but this isn't an available feature for Lumin

I enjoy using Lumin to edit my PDF files for our business. It’s easy to use and creates great files for us to send to our customers.
