We’ve found that often the person we’re dealing with/selling to is not necessarily the person that will be signing the document, but typically don’t find that out until we send the document for signing. From what we’ve seen there appears to be two scenarios… The client clicks the “negotiate” button and types a message saying “I’m the wrong person, send to Mary”. This results in the Document being rejected and we then cannot edit it to change the signatory to be “Mary”. We need to reload the original Word document and start over. The client closes the browser and sends us an email advising “I’m the wrong person, send it to “Mary”. Under this scenario, LuminSign allows us to “Add Recipients” where we can add “Mary” as a “Signer”, but it doesn’t allow us to position the signature block or any Text and Date fields that we want associated with “Mary”. When Mary opens the document, she can “Add Signatures” (anywhere in the document), but no Dates or Texts fields.
